What we do, and what we do not do
Business Credit Partners (BCP) describes here what it actually does. Please read these before you submit a form or sign anything. They apply to every page of this site.
What BCP does
- Recruits and screens people who may serve as credit partners.
- Owns and manages the borrower businesses, one LLC per partner, and provides their capital, the reserve and the indemnity under a written agreement.
- Plans rounds of applications with each partner, who reviews and submits every application.
- Through the borrower businesses, makes investments and secured real-estate loans set in the agreement, each reviewed for the licensing, interest-rate and other lending requirements that apply.
- Runs the partner portal, which shows available account information with its last update time.
- May receive a referral fee from the credit monitoring service we use when a partner enrolls through our link.
What BCP does not do
- Make credit decisions on any application a partner submits. Lenders decide eligibility, approval amounts and terms, and can decline, reduce or close any account.
- Lend money to partners, or ask partners to lend money to BCP or pay the business's accounts from personal funds.
- Submit an application for you, or treat one approval as authority for another.
- Dispute, remove or coach changes to anything on your credit reports, or sell credit improvement to partners.
- Charge partners an enrollment fee, or a fee for arranging lender products.
How licensing and legal status are decided
Labels do not decide whether a licensing, registration or securities rule applies. What BCP and its affiliates actually do decides that. Our attorneys are reviewing the structure, the lending, the applications and how money moves before enrollment opens.
Borrower and guarantor liability
The borrower is a business owned by BCP, one LLC per partner. You apply on its behalf in your actual officer capacity and personally guarantee its debt. Each lender's documents identify the borrower and your obligations. The lender can hold you personally liable for the debt. Your liability depends on each lender's documents. A personal guarantee can expose you to the full balance you guarantee, plus interest, fees and collection costs. If the business does not pay, the lender can collect from you, report to your credit and sue you. Autopay can fail. A reserve can run out. An indemnity is only as good as the company behind it. None of these changes what you owe a lender.
No guarantees
We assess whether the proposed role may fit your circumstances. Only lenders decide eligibility, approval amounts and terms. We do not guarantee approval, a credit limit, a score, timing or any amount of funding. Nothing on this site predicts an outcome.
Costs and compensation
BCP charges no enrollment fee. Any third-party subscription, legal cost or other expense is disclosed before you incur it, along with who pays it. The credit monitoring service we use may pay us a referral fee when you enroll through our link. Any payment to a credit partner is a fee set in your written agreement, before any application, paid by the business from its own funds. When a fee is earned, and any caps, conditions or reversals, are set only in a signed written agreement. We publish no examples of partner pay and make no promises about pay. See costs and who pays.
Terms are set only in a signed agreement
This describes a proposed program whose terms may change after counsel review. It is not an offer or a contract. Only the signed agreements set the terms. You may withdraw before entering an agreement. After signing, cancellation depends on that agreement. Leaving your officer role does not release a personal guarantee.
Where the program stands
Interest list only. Enrollment and credit applications are closed. The proposed program is under legal review and may change or may not launch. This site describes a proposed program whose terms may change.
Data and consent
Our form asks for your state, name, contact details, a self-reported credit range, goals and availability. It never asks for a Social Security number, date of birth, account numbers, a credit report or any password. Your answers can be saved in your own browser so you can finish later; you can clear them, and nothing is sent until you submit. You agree to be contacted when you submit. If a credit report is ever needed, we'll explain why and who sees it, and ask for your written permission first. A shared report is seen only by the people named in that permission, every view is logged, and it is deleted when the permission's period ends or after a decline. The credit monitoring service is a separate company. Before you enroll through our partner link, we tell you in writing the plan's price, who pays it, how it renews and how to cancel. In the live portal, account data comes from a secure bank-connection service you link yourself, and you can disconnect it at any time. The portal shows available account and payment information, with its last update time. Confirm payment status directly with each issuer; portal information may be delayed or incomplete.
Data security
We do not accept Social Security numbers, ID images, reports or account numbers by email. Before launch, documents move only through the encrypted partner portal, with access limited to named people and a written information security program in place.
Demo data
The partner portal on this site is an illustrative demo, not operating history. Its accounts and figures are invented. It is not a typical or expected result and does not show what any partner is paid.
Household and spouse
Household agreement is a suitability point for us, not a substitute for any spousal consent the law requires. In community property states, a guarantee may expose property you share with your spouse. We never require a spouse to sign a lender's guarantee.
Education, not legal, tax or financial advice
Everything on this site is general information. Talk to your own attorney and tax adviser before you sign anything.
