Accessibility

Our accessibility goal, what we test and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Business Credit Partners wants everyone to be able to use businesscreditpartners.com and the partner portal, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or captions.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities.

Where we are today

Partly meets the goal. Most of the site meets WCAG 2.2 AA. A few parts do not yet. We list them below with what to do in the meantime.

What we do

  • We test every page with automated accessibility checks before each update goes live.
  • We check pages with a keyboard alone and with a screen reader.
  • We use clear headings, labels on every form field, visible focus outlines, and text that can be resized.
  • We write in plain language and keep important warnings next to the buttons they relate to.
  • We respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
  • We do not use time limits on our forms. Saved answers stay in your browser so you can finish later.

Known limits and what to do in the meantime

AreaThe issueWhat to do now
Sticky headerOn some screens, the header can briefly cover the item you moved to with the keyboardScroll a little, or zoom the page. We are fixing this.
Small targetsA few small links and icons may be hard to tapUse the larger buttons nearby, or zoom the page. We are fixing this.
Account connection and identity check windowsThese open in a window run by Plaid, another company. We do not control their designIf you have trouble, email us and we will help or offer another way.
PDF documentsSome agreements and statements are PDFs that may not work well with every screen readerAsk us for a plain-text, large-print or other format.
Electronic signature screensAgreements are signed in a third-party signing toolAsk us for help or for another way to review and sign.

Other ways to reach us

If any part of the site does not work for you, we will help another way:

  • Email hello@businesscreditpartners.com.
  • We accept calls through the free 711 relay service.
  • Mail: our mailing address, available on request at hello@businesscreditpartners.com.

We can send documents in other formats, read them aloud by phone, or take your information by email or phone instead of a form.

Tell us about a problem

Email hello@businesscreditpartners.com with the subject "Accessibility." Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We reply within 2 business days and aim to fix or offer another way within 10 business days.

Technical details

The site is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. We test with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with VoiceOver on Apple devices and NVDA on Windows.

How we review

We check accessibility ourselves, with automated tools and by hand. We review this statement at least once a year and after major changes.

Disclosures, in plain sentences

Interest list only. Enrollment and credit applications are closed. The proposed program is under legal review and may change or may not launch. This site describes a proposed program whose terms may change. BCP does not make credit decisions, does not submit applications for you, and does not dispute, repair or coach changes to your credit. What we do and do not do

The borrower is a business owned by BCP, one LLC per partner. You apply on its behalf in your actual officer capacity and personally guarantee its debt. Each lender's documents identify the borrower and your obligations. The lender can hold you personally liable for the debt. The business is responsible under our agreement for making payments. It may fail to pay. Your obligations to the lender remain enforceable under the lender's documents.

Autopay can fail. A reserve can run out. An indemnity is only as good as the company behind it. None of these changes what you owe a lender. No guarantee of approval, credit limits or timing. Only lenders decide eligibility, amounts and terms.

BCP charges no enrollment fee. Any third-party subscription, legal cost or other expense is disclosed before you incur it, along with who pays it. The credit monitoring service we use may pay us a referral fee when you enroll through our link. If a credit report is ever needed, we'll explain why and who sees it, and ask for your written permission first. We will never ask for your passwords or codes. If anyone claiming to be us does, do not reply and tell us at hello@businesscreditpartners.com. Education only, not legal, tax or financial advice. Read the full disclosures
